Bar Harbor has become my go-to for Smoked Kippers, and one of the things I love most about it is the size of the can. This is 6.7 Ounces! That is a lot of fish, and they are able to fit meaty substantial filets in there because of it. It is the perfect size to complement a salad or some bread to round out a meal. Or as a snack, I eat it on toast with capers, mustard and pepper, sometimes together or each apart. It is savory, smoky and splendid. BPA free cans are critical when eating canned fish regularly. These have become a staple in my kitchen. I buy 12 cans every 4 weeks, and plan to do so for the indefinite future.

**Q: Is there an expiration date? How far out?**
A: yes expiration info on each container. my items expire october 2016

**Q: Are these boneless?**
A: They are boneless and mushy. I would never buy them again even if they were the only thing available! Stick with Polar or John West.

**Q: Why is there small pieces instead of larger filets?**
A: My tins have contained a mix of large filets and smaller pieces. I use it to make kedgeree so it works well for me

**Q: ad says bar harbor, can says canada, reviews indicate latvia? where are they from?**
A: The box I have indicates product of Latvia. They are great and I recommend them.
