It’s easy to read, easy to follow, and doesn’t make you guess at what’s going to happen. I would be very hard pressed to pick a favorite series of hers. The Landry Family is awesome. I love how well they come across the page as a family - as someone I might know. Ford & Ellie’s story was wonderful. They met and fell in love in high school. After a period of separation; they are reunited. Ellie is still slightly skeptical that Ford is really in it for the long haul. As Ford tries to prove his intentions, life gets in the way and makes things difficult for them both. Fortunately, things do settle down for them. I loved the plot and the characters. I loved the family aspect. But there was a situation that just kinda rubbed me the wrong way and felt out of place in the overall plot. Despite that, I really enjoyed this book. It was a lot more emotional than the first three books.Ford was the ultimate book boyfriend. He knew he’d messed up in the past and regretted his actions ever since. But when he got a second chance with Ellie he was all in. He was willing to do whatever it took to prove to Ellie that they were meant to be.Ellie was still very hurt by Ford’s past actions. She had taken her broken heart and mended it by creating goals for her life, and her current goal was to open her own boutique. Ford wore her down but it wasn’t easy.There were some secondary plots running in this book that I’m very intrigued by. I loved seeing Ford’s relationship with his sisters and found it funny they referred to him as the “logical” one. This book exceeded my expectations beyond anything I could have imagined, and I loved it so freaking much. Adriana Locke never ceases to blow me away with her extraordinary talent, and she is by far one of my top favorite contemporary romance authors. There is literally not a single book that I've read from her that I haven't loved, and she has completely blown me away with the amazing and addicting Landry Family series. Every single book gets better and better, and they never fail to make me smile and swoon. The Landry's are definitely my favorite family and characters that I have ever had the pleasure of reading about. I love each and every one of them with all of my heart and I am going to be devastated when I read the final book, Swink. I honestly can't stop gushing about this series and the wonderful storylines and characters that Ms. Locke has created. Her writing style was once again amazing and it is always an absolute joy to read her novels.   Ford and Ellie were amazing and I absolutely loved and adored them and their story. I loved their personalities and chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I don't often read second chance romance, but Swear has truly been one of the best second chance romances that I've ever read. It had everything that I could possibly dream of and ever want in a contemporary romance and so much more. I loved reading the book from both Ford and Ellie's POV, and I loved almost all of their banter and interactions with each other. There were a few parts that were slightly trying between them, but all of it was completely worth it in the end. I have loved all of the Landry siblings, but Ford just might be my favorite Landry brother so far. Swear was so much more than I could have hoped for and I was absolutely ecstatic with the conclusion to Ford and Ellie's story. It was perfect in every possible way and made me extremely happy. It's definitely safe to say that Swear has been my favorite installment in the Landry Family series so far.   I mentioned the Landry family in an above paragraph, but they are truly more wonderful than my words can express. I have fallen head over heels in love with each and every one of them and their significant others, and I will without a doubt be re-reading this amazing and unforgettable series over and over again for a very long time to come.   Swear was an incredibly sexy, swoon-worthy, and heartwarming second chance romance, and one of my TOP FAVORITE reads of the year! Adriana Locke truly outdid herself with this book, and I honestly couldn't have loved Ford and Ellie's story more if I tried.
