Während der mcpocket eine Geldscheinklammer bietet, sonst aber für mich zu dick ist und oft 2-3 Karten herausgleiten und die Gefahr besteht, dass eine Karte zu Boden fällt, da man zu weit geschoben hat, ist das MOTR Produkt in der Tat äußerst minimalistisch und.Das unboxing ist nett, die Schachtel geschmackvoll, nach dem Öffnen sieht man zuerst eine Karte mit dem Logo des (Start-up??) Unternehmens.Unter der Karte kommen zwei (leicht scharfkantige) Carbonscheiben zum Vorschein, die von einem roten Textilgummiband gehalten werden. darunter zwei Ersatzbänder in blau und grau.Das soll jetzt mein Kartenhalter sein?Also Gummi ab, Karten zwischen die Scheiben gepackt, Band drum und üben die Karten heraus zu nehmen. Klappt schnell recht gut.Da selbst mit 6 Karten das MOTR Produkt schlank bleibt, habe ich es trotz einiger Bedenken behalten und das Konkurrenzprodukt zurückgeschickt.Man benötigt für diese Lösung allerdings beide Hände: rausschieben der Karten mit einer hand, dann mit beiden Händen auffächern und dann mit einer Hand halten und mit der anderen die Karte entnehmen. Gesucht oder gewünscht hätte ich, dass man mit einer Hand arbeiten und mit der anderen entnehmen kann...Dennoch insgesamt eine tolle, schlanke Lösung als Ersatz für die Geldbörse.Auf längere Sicht gesehen habe ich allerdings auch zwei Bedenken:- Die Gummibänder werden sicher bei prallem Kartenetui und unterschieben von Geldscheinen ihre Spannung verlieren, wenn man weniger Karten dabei hat. Dann könnten die Scheiben zwischen den Karten durchrutschen oder das Geld unter dem Gummi. Vielleicht könnte das Band flexibel mit einer Klettzone ausgerüstet werden...- Die Haltbarkeit des Carbons hängt auch von der Qualität der eingesetzten Materialien und der Verarbeitung ab. Wenn Carbon einmal bricht, ist direkt das ganze Produkt hin.Dennoch möchte ich mit dem Kauf die -offenbar noch junge- Firma MOTR unterstützen. Für das jetzt und hier ist diese Lösung einfach klasse, funktional und dünner als die Konkurrenzprodukte. Daher gebe ich 5 Sterne.Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass bereits vor dem Eintreffen der Ware vom Inhaber eine sehr nette mail verschickt wurde, in der auch ein Tipp zum Handling gegeben wurde.
