I chose this one because it looks like an actual home office desk versus an electric desk in a corporate office. The instructions are not that clear, but the installation video was extremely helpful. A couple of installation tips: the silver rod... at first we couldn't understand how this spanned the width of the desk. What we realized is that there is a part of the rod that you have to stretch out. This part goes into the left leg and then you extend the rod to reach the right leg. Also, I was extremely nervous we would have issues with the motor given a previous review. For us, we simply needed to press down the "lock" button for a couple of seconds until the current height was displayed (28.3 is the low height). Once this was displayed, you press the up bottom to achieve the desired height. The desk automatically relocks and if you want to adjust the height you simply press the "lock" button for a couple of seconds again. You also have to unlock it to set the presets. I was pleasantly surprised to find two USB inputs on the right side of the desk (where the controls are). You can't tell that they are from the product pictures. So, it comes with a total of four USB inputs, two on the left (in addition to outlets) and two on the right. This works great for my devices that are situated on both sides of the desk.In all, I'm super excited about the desk. Love the way it looks in my home office. I hope that the mechanics stand up to the test of time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Practical, Pretty, Easy to Assemble *by E***T on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2020* For starters, it's a great looking desk. I didn't want to buy a rising desk for the sake of a rising desk. I desired something made of cherry wood to align with the decor of my home office. I am an absolute fan of the embedded desk mat, the drawer (large enough to accommodate 2 stacked laptops, my headset, notebook, and cables), the side-saddled electric outlets, and the convenient USB ports. I really am loving my desk.Assembling the desk is very easy--but pay particular attention to Step 2 in the User Manual. If you do not *extend* the crossbar and push it all the way in as directed, you'll find that only one side of the desk rises. Use of the word *extend* in reference to the crossbar would have made this particular step clear to me.There's one issue, which, objectively, I can see as a safety feature...the electronic keypad requires that you hold down the lock button for at least 3 seconds to *unlock* the keypad prior to raising or lowering the desk. Apparently the requirement to unlock the keypad prior to adjusting the height is a known issue addressed in the User Manual; however, the instructions provided do not resolve the chronically-locked-keyboard issue.
