I have diabetes and go for blood tests every several months to check A1c level and also my cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Since taking this product (2 capsules every morning with my multi vitamin) my most recent results are the following. Cholesterol went from 202 (high) to 141 (normal), Triglycerides went from 223 (high) to 113 (normal), and my HDL for my entire life has been low, usually around 35 or 36. In my most recent test it went from 36 to 41 which is the first normal reading I have ever gotten in my adult life!! The only downside that I can find if I have to be picky is that if I take the capsules on an empty stomach, usually 20 to 30 minutes later I will occasionally burp and it tastes like I just ate some sushi or miso soup.
