May be difficult, not impossible, to use finger scanner, though. *by T***R on February 25, 2017* Almost didn't purchase based on the other review stating the thumbprint scanner was covered.This is not true. It seems to be covered in the picture, but the power button/thumbprint scanner IS exposed, albeit a bit hard to reach as the cover is thick. This is an advantage, though, as the cover lip extends beyond the screen by a few millimeters which should help if the phone is dropped.Biggest disadvantage is the rubber layer is rather thick, and makes it just a bit hard to get tactile feedback from the normally more "click"-ish buttons on the Xperia XC.DO NOTE, I couldn't test just how hard it is to push your thumb in enough to contact the power button for scanning other than I can confirm you can push it. I'm in the US, and until my warranty expires I won't be re-flashing it. As a result, the thumbprint scanner is disabled in this region.Edit: Bah. Did it anyways as it is the official firmware. Case works with the scanner. As thought, though, it is a smidge difficult to use. I recommend setting your fingerprints up in advance first. Then using the diagonal of your finger when pressing.
