It's a great statement piece or gift. I believe we got the 36oz and it was a good size for storing coffee grounds, k-cups, or tea packets. It would also make a great dice holder for those who play tabletop RPGs.We gave it to a friend of ours who likes octopuses and she was so thrilled. The jar is beautifully etched, thick, high quality glass. It's shipped very securely and didn't crack or chip.The only downside is that the hinge is a little sticky, which can make it hard to close. It was a gift, so I didn't want to risk breaking it by forcing the hinge. But, I found that jiggling it a little usually solved the issue and made it easy to close again.
