I had purchased a cheap summer infant with my first but after researching on the negative effects of phthalates and chemicals in vinyl and baby items I decided to go with a more natural product which is why this 100% organic cotton changing pad is perfect for me. There are a few “drawbacks” that for me aren’t a big deal. Yes it’s not waterproof but that’s why you can use a cover and I am planning on using a liner plus a paper cover on top of the fabric cover for easy clean up/unexpected blow outs which DO happen. If you don’t use a cover/liner, chances are they pad will get soiled and at that point it’s probably best to replace because it won’t be easy to clean.However, it is super soft, safe and perfect for a mom like me who prioritizes chemical free items for their little ones. If you don’t care about that stuff and are more into convenience then this pad is not for you. ### ⭐⭐ I wanted to love it *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2021* When I bought it I saw a review that said it’s a cardboard with a cheap foam on top & I thought the person was exaggerating.
