It says specifically to wash on low settings and do not tumble dry, so I immediately washed it in my washing machine on light setting by itself, threw it in my drier to tumble dry on high/permanent press and had not problem. So, overall I'm very impressed with a decently priced jacket that is somewhat rugged and very warm. I don't usually leave detailed feedback, but as a tall skinny adult that has a hard time finding satisfying and fitting clothing....I find this worthy of the cause. Don't know how long it will last being that I just got it, but I did wash it and tumble dried it like it told me not to and everything so far is fine except for the fact that all the buttons on the jacket make a whole lot of noise in your dryer. I understand why they package this way. The result is the jacket was wadded up and extremely wrinkled. I spent an hour ironing the jacket to get the wrinkles out. The jacket is of good quality and the fit I would say is accurate. I would say this is a Mid weight jacket. I wore it in 15 degree weather and it kept me warm. This jacket is a good value and well worth purchasing.
