Had a problem and Keith in service talked and walked me through trouble shooting and repairing it. Good value and strong lifting capacity. Not crazy about the strap connectors to the tray, tendency to get pulled out of alignment, not a big deal easy to readjust.

A: The difference is the width only, length and height are the same.  If want something to fit between 24" centers, only the SL 5222 will work with mod, as the larger unit is 28" Wide

**Q: Does it come with power cord and installation manual? mine didn't**

We needed a lift to get our Christmas decorations up and down in our new home. Pretty straight forward installation, not bad. Had a problem and Keith in service talked and walked me through trouble shooting and repairing it. Good value and strong lifting capacity. Not crazy about the strap connectors to the tray, tendency to get pulled out of alignment, not a big deal easy to readjust.

I was able to install it myself several years ago. Because I installed between 2x4 trusses, I added some 2x2s on top of the attic floor to make sure the lift stays in place. I had to laugh when I saw the video ad that had someone climbing a ladder with a big tote on their head. That was what I used to do. This has been working for several years. It is a life saver!
