I will say that I think that Irish or friendlier Scotch does work better in here than smokey Scotch or Bourbon, as the glasses are very large, and encourage larger sips. This is a glass for enjoying, not for thinking and being critical. Poland has been producing products for Waterford Crystal for quite some time now, so maybe there? **Q: Is this for drinking neat only. Could it be used as a rocks glass as well?** A: I use them for drinking neat as the glass is thin. If you do use with rock(s) they would be small ones as then oppening is narrow so not made for the large single ice molds.
