I didn't realized it was real leather because it wasn't mentioned in the title originally and the description still doesn't list the material as leather either. Usually the price is higher for actual leather and this item in store was at least $16 so I included a pic of the attached piece tag to show why I was confused. Enough about why I can't use it and on to what is nice about it :) I always have rubberband on my wrist in case I need to put my long hair up in a hurry. The idea of this cuff is genius! I have several faux leather cuffs I already use for bartending and this would've been an excellent replacement. I added a picture to show how the "slap cuff" unfold and then placed it on my friend's thick hair to show that it fits nicely. It does not go twice around my thick hair so I use a separate hair tie and the one that’s attached to the leather cuff I just wrap it once around and it hides fine under the leather cuff . Some people I think would try to wrap it twice and break it.
