I was told me he would ship me another backboard and some additional basketballs and send the original backboard back. After I hung up the backboard I realized the scratches weren’t as noticeable as when it was in my hands. I canceled the new backboard and he responded by taking ~$40 off for it. Absolutely awesome and responsive customer service. I attached a picture to show how I hung up the hoop. The spot in my son’s room didn’t have a joist in the middle where I wanted to hang it up. So, I hung up a 2x8 on the bottom and a 2x4 on the top to extend to joists on each side of center. I then screwed the hoop into them. It’s absolutely sturdy as can be. My son “tested” it by doing his best Giannis hang on the rim dunk impressions within about 3 minutes of me being done. I have no doubt a 12 year old could do the same. This hoop is amazing. It’s a birthday present for my 8 year old son and he’s going to love it. I reinforced it with a 2x8 and 2x4 and it’s remarkably sturdy.
