I was very disappointed with these shoes... until I took the VOCOFA inserts from my running shoes and put them into my Merrell's. They are higher then my old one's, so they took a little time to get used to. I suggest you only wear them for an hour or two for a few days until you get comfortable with the high arch, unless of course you already are using a fairly high arch support. Once they were broken in and my feet were acclimated to them, they are comfortable and are working well.
