It works very well better in my opinion than the other kind of magnet with the eye on the opposite side of the magnet. The body is chrome plated steel and the eye provided is 304 stainless. Bear this in mind when tightening as 304 is actually fairly soft and you could very easily shear it off. Just nipped and loctite is plenty good enough if you plan to use it for magnet fishing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magnetic attraction. *by M***S on 5 June 2018* Very powerful magnet. More substantial in size than I had expected.
