He doesn't like taking his medicine, but he knows he gets a "smellyfish" (they definitely have a little bit of an odor - they're fish!) when he takes it without giving me a ton of fuss. So he takes his medicine, gets his smellyfish reward, and we're all happy with a healthy kitty. It will absolutely depend on the cat. My tuxie doesn't like these, as they're not little filled niblet treats that he enjoys. You won't know until you try it. Also, it doesn't seem like a lot in the bag for the price, but I promise it is. If I give one every day, my cat still has a couple months of minnows in the bag. Some are tiny, but others are huge. You could reasonably break some up into two or three pieces and still have a good sized treat out of it.
