This NA-10 Konova Slider is a great ball bearing slider. Like everybody else, I bought an Igus slider. It's ok, but would bind if not level, and I noticed that on slow slides I felt like it would 'stop' intermittently...so I was excited to see the Konova ball bearing slider with many pre-drilled holes. Surely, this is much better (but note, in a dusty environment you may be better off with the Igus as that system would be less affected by dust)When I purchased mine the friction was a tad too much, I contacted Konova. They were kind enough to offer to replace it with no hassles, which prompted me to want to do a video review to say thanks. I actually ended up just adjusting the 'eccentric bearings' just a hair. Easy for a techy type, like me : )The feet are sturdy, but a bit heavy. The only improvement I'd recommend to Konova is to smooth off the sharp edges on the carriage and on the ends as they are a tad sharp. Also, you have to learn to slide it slowly, either dragging a finger, or letting it glide itself if you set it up on a very slight incline--which is very cool. All things considered, it's a great slider.5/6/2012 UPDATE:After using this for a number of real shoots, I have some thoughts to add. This set up below is different than shown in my video:1: This slider can be mounted in the center of any tripod with a bowl and NO head--as long as it is 'tight' it will not 'drop' when it goes to the far sides (at least with a Canon 7D + 18-135mm). I mounted it to my Bogen 547B without the head (because with my 701hdv head, I can't get a really firm lock) And it works well, especially for events, or anywhere you can't set up an elaborate floor track and dolly system (which usually gives you amazing smooth footage) because you have to be able to pick the tripod/slider/camera up and MOVE often--out of people's way. As I said in the video, you have to really practice because it moves a bit too easily, that the footage can be jerky (keep in mind I am shooting static objects--a wedding pro, this will be less of an issue) With all this in mind: the best setup I have found for this is to try to adjust the slider so as to always slide slightly 'UPHILL' and with a soft rubber band. Then your takes will be fairly good. The rubber band, while feeling kind of silly does isolate your hand from the system to avoid vibration and some speed changes (not all) again it takes practice.If I could find a competitive slider that had some type of 'flywheel' (so that it would 'even out' the pushing force from my hand) or 'graceful' friction (the igus has 'inherit' friction, but again it wasn't forgiving/graceful at all) adjustment mechanism, that might be the slider to go with, even if it's $100 to $200 more, because you will save much time not having to do what I said in the paragraph above. Time on a shoot is valuable. ### ⭐⭐⭐ it does say it's not included in the fine print so I do fault myself for not taking ... *by S***N on February 27, 2016* I gave this 3 stars ONLY because it misleadingly shows the level head in the picture. Yes, it does say it's not included in the fine print so I do fault myself for not taking the time. However, I continue to use Amazon because of its ease of use and simplicity - What you see is what you get. Amazon needs to have this company change its layout. It's visually deceiving, and cost me another $200 to buy the level head. ### ⭐ Wrong Item, Again. *by J***N on December 3, 2013* I ordered, once on a separate account the Konova Slider K3 and received the K2. I returned the item and bought the K3 from another account, thinking I was getting the right item this time because, "Maybe it was a mistake," but no, I received the K2 yet again. Because of this 3rd party BS all I can really do it return it and try ordering again but I'm just whatever about the situation and told Amazon that I'd like to keep the item I received and get a refund of the difference ($130.99!), because why would I want to go through this a 3rd time. Also - I heard the differences between the K2 and the K3 aren't too different.
