Review: Get Rid Of That Ridiculous Stock Antenna - I love my 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman, but I've always hated the stupid 35ft. long antenna. Every time I'd go to the car wash, they'd take it off. It just looked dumb. So I got a wild hair up the caboose and searched desertcart for "tactical truck antenna" and found this gem. The reviews seemed legit so I bought it. Arrived in one day. First star earned. Good packaging and easy instructions. Second star earned. The size is great though I wouldn't mind it being a tad bit shorter. Then I tested AM and FM - no signal loss. Remaining stars earned. Now that it's on there, I'm going to use some red locktite to ensure it stays on because I'm sure the thieves in Reno would love it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great on my 2017 RAM

When I bought my 2017 RAM a few weeks ago, I couldn't believe that they still have an old-school metal antenna mast on the fender. Most new cars have them built in to the GPS until on top of the roof. Had to get rid of it. This little antenna is great....almost 5 stars, but I'll need to drop one star for this reason: I live about 30 miles outside of Columbus, Ohio, and I did notice a little loss of Radio signal. With the old antenna, I would get all of the HD radio stations just fine, but they did flicker in and out from time to time. With this antenna, it's seems to be "slightly" worse...they go in and out a little bit more often from HD to regular signal. Not a huge deal for me since I usually listen to SIRIUS-XM or Pandora from Bluetooth. If you live within 20 or so miles from a big city, I don't see it being a problem. Super easy to install---took maybe 2 minutes. You'll probably need a wrench to get the old antenna off, but I just hand tightened the new one---it's not going anywhere, and I am confident that it will fine in the car wash without removing it.
