However, the pullers may not be able to get a good enough grip to pull all bearings. I've had a few that it would not grip enough to pull out. The jaws aren't hard enough or machined sharp enough to work 100% **Q: Will this work to remove a carrier bearing in outboard motor lower units?** A: I'm not sure if it will work for that application. If the puller jaws can grab the back side of the bearing it probably will.
