I thought I'd upgrade my equipment to try and upgrade my finish. it certainly sped up the process still think I need 4 coats but with this applying the compound so I can just go back and smooth it out. it turned a day project into a few hour project allowing for the margins to handle the extra time of a 4th coat without braking the bank. Review: Works great! Very easy to use makes mudding way faster - I've done drywall many times, but I am in no way an expert. I bought a cheaper version and it sucked. Returned it and got this one. I was sceptical of my skills and of the tool. I pulled it out of the box and put it to work. It worked great! Flew through walls and ceilings in minutes. Next to no sanding in between coats. I plan on getting the 6" and 8" box for my next job. The handle is long so it's a little awkward for walls, but I plan on also getting the adjustable handle.
