Once it was installed it has been wonderful. The ability to issue user specific codes makes it easy to manage and it is a breeze to program and operate. The quality is superb and the locksmith that I recently had out to rekey my home was going straight back to the shop to order these up for his customers. It is very handy that I no longer have to unlock a knob and relock it every time I exit. They are easy to program and are easy to use! My business has lots of traffic and these get used extensively and I wear them out after a couple of years but that is with high usage. I am getting ready to buy another one for another door in my business.Update: I purchased this in January this year and the lock has already failed. I have been purchasing these locks for years but each time the quality of these locks get worse. I now have to replace this - 6 months later - and I am buying something different. These are cheaper priced locks but I guess you get what you pay for..... ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing *by .***. on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2009* I was really disappointed by the LockState LS-6600 and will be returning it.While the main portion of the lock seems well-built, the actual bolt into the door seems very second-rate and flimsy. Unfortunately, the stem that goes through the door and allows the handle to retract the bolt is larger than normal and won't fit the high-quality standard bolt that was already in the door.I was also irritated by the lack of installation instructions. There *are* directions for programming the lock and even replacing the tumbler, but nothing on how to get the lock installed into the door. I was finally able to puzzle out how to separate the two halves of the lock so I could install it.However, the lock is too tall! When installed, it WILL NOT FIT under the standard position for a deadbolt. It even intruded into the standard deadbolt hole, so, if you have a deadbolt installed, you can't even remove it and replace it with a cover.The final irritant was the song. When you put in the access code, the lock plays a little tune that lasts about a second, maybe two. But the lock will not unlock until the song is over, so you have to wait on it.
