I wanted something not too expensive and good enough for my daily walk round the streets. The shoes are well made, the velcro works perfectly, they are comfortable to walk in and they have a very good sole for when the ice and snow comes. They are not waterproof but I didn't expect that anyway. I'm not going to be rambling over the windswept moors, all I needed them was for my daily walk. I've had operations on both feet and the width was perfect for me.
