I ordered this punch because I had purchased a different 6-hole punch at the store, only to realize that the holes did not line up with the 6-ring planner I had also purchased (displayed right next to the punch, by the same brand, BTW). So, I went on a search and ended up choosing this punch after reading the reviews. I received it yesterday, and HOORAY!! I am able to adjust the position of the holes so they line up perfectly. I have to say, I think the BEST part about this punch is the little paper guide. The other punch didn't have that either, and I was struggling to get the holes in the same place consistently on the page. Now, it's super easy! I pull the little guide (located by the little 'confetti' tray on one end) out to the A4/A5 position- which is printed on the guide, and my paper edges are nice and straight in my binder. I'm a little OCD, so that's really important to me. I am using 32 pound paper, and was able to punch through 5 sheets without any problems. At 6 pages, I started to see resistance and some jaggedness to the holes. Normal copy paper is only generally 20 pounds, so I think that 6 pages would not be a problem.
