Catappa, also known as Indian Almond Leaf or Ketapang, is rich in tannins with antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Saw bunch of review thought this is solution for mine tank but absolutely not true.For anyone who looking to lower ur PH dont waste ur time here. I used 25 leaves for my 275 gallon test tank and after 14 days PH level nothing reduce accept: it “””increased”” about 0.2-0.5ppm. My tank is just tap water with this product for testing nothing els so no doubt PH original 7.8 and after 14 days: +8.3ppmAbout the tanin i aggreed.
