What I love most is the green internal vent system; it works incredibly well to prevent the baby from swallowing air, which has drastically reduced colic, gas, and spit-up after feeding.I love the versatility of the Options+ line, because as the baby grows or no longer needs the anti-colic system, you can just remove the green insert and use it like a regular bottle. They are very durable, easy for little hands to hold, and the nipple has a very natural flow that makes the transition between breast and bottle much smoother. They take a bit more effort to wash because of the internal parts, but my baby’s comfort makes it 100% worth it. She would take just about any bottle, but this one was easier on her tummy. We have had a couple of them leak, but it’s always been user error. I wouldn’t trust the reviews complaining of leaking, especially if your bottle is just upside down. There is probably a better way to store your bottle. They come with caps to insert inside to prevent leakage while traveling. It’s super simple. We’ve also had no issues of melting. It’s honestly a little concerning that some of these reviewers are taking care of babies but can’t properly use a baby bottle. The 5 oz size is perfect for newborns, and what I like most is that this capacity can be used for quite a while from birth, so you get good use out of them during the early months. I also like the wide bottle design because it makes it much easier to mix the formula and dissolve it well without creating air bubbles. The anti-colic system also helps reduce gas and discomfort. They are easy to clean and feel very good quality.
