When it first arrived I was afraid it might be see-through but once I put it on I did not feel it needs to be layered. The material is soft, comfortable, and feels good against the skin. The quality seems good - no uneven hems or loose threads. The fit is exactly how I wanted it - not too long to wear untucked, V-neck that looks good and not too revealing when worn centered, but can be pulled off the shoulder for a sexier look.I'm 5'1" and weigh 110 pounds with an athletic build and I ordered the small, which fits perfectly. I would recommend ordering true to size.I've attached a few pictures that show the different styles this sweater can be worn: casual with leggings and sneakers. I added a layered tank underneath for this look. Then I paired it with skinny jeans and wore it off the shoulder for a night-out look. Finally, with the same skinny jeans but centered as I would wear it out to lunch, for example. Although I prefer a nice tuck, I did include a photo so you can see what it looks like untucked. It's not too boxy, but not fitted either.I imagine I'll be wearing this year-round - in the summer it will be perfect with shorts at night when the air is cooler, or if I'm running into the store and I know the air conditioning will be blaring. In spring and fall it will be great with almost any style of jean, and in in the winter it can be layered with a tank or a scarf. It's not itchy at all and that's what I worry about with sweaters like these. That wasn't a problem with this one. It was comfy. It is on the thin side but I don't mind that considering I live in a very warm area so it doesn't get too cold. The color is like the picture. It's accurate. The only thing I don't like is the size, but it's my fault. They're true to size. I bought a medium because that's what I normally wear, but I could have gone by their size chart and gotten a better fit. These are not tight sweater. It's loose so I have a baggier fit but it's not bad. Still looks cute. So pick your size carefully. I wouldn't say it's necessary to size up unless you want a baggier fit.
