To begin with, the ugly pockets on the front make your abdominal region look fat and lumpy. It's a straight cut through the waist, which is unattractive and makes me look boxy. The weave of the sweater is large and open, so if you don't wear a long sleeved shirt under it (which adds to the bulk) you can feel cold air on your skin. It is not a warm sweater even though it looks like it is from the picture. I was hoping that the collar would stand up like it does in the picture, but it just flops over and looks stupid. Also, today is the third time I've worn the cardigan and I just now noticed a big hole in the seam on the inside of my right arm as I am typing this review. It's bigger than a quarter! I didn't do anything but put the sweater on about an hour ago. Poorly made and unattractive.I'm very disappointed in this sweater and it is the last time I will be wearing it. ### ⭐ not a bueno sweater *by N***B on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2015* It's a hairy out of the bag when the picture makes the sweater look smooth. This seems to be an issue with every item I've bought from Patty Boutik. Even my cotton sweater from PB is pilling and I've barely worn it 10 times.On top of that, this sweater adds 15 pounds and makes me look pregnant (I'm a very slender person), but that might just be because I'm short. It's still cute and warm so I'm going to keep it but I'm not buying any more knitted clothing from this brand.**edit 12/3/15**I've worn this 3 times to school and it's started pilling. Thank goodness I stayed true to my size and went with a small on this sweater because sizing up or down would have been a mistake.1. A small fits beautifully—neither too snug nor does it leave too much room.2. If your proportions match mine and you size down, the body may fit even better but the arms will be much too snug or not fit at all. A medium may accommodate a long-sleeve shirt very comfortably and leave a little room, but on someone like me, it would appear to be too big.3. You can wear a SHORT-sleeve shirt underneath without it being too warm or snug at the arms, underarms, or around the shoulders.4. The hip area is comfy whether zipped or unzipped since the material is flexible. The back covers my butt completely, but I’m not sure this would be the case for taller people or those with a longer torso.5. The pockets do not make me look frumpy, nor does the cardigan "pile". The pockets are not near my stomach since I’m shorter. Again, for those taller than me, some people said the pockets led to a frumpy, gathered, piled look, since they were located somewhat near their stomach areas, so keep that in mind.6. You can wear this sweater with a LONG-sleeve shirt underneath. I don’t intend to because it is a thick-ish sweater, so a long-sleeve shirt underneath would be too warm. I also feel it may be a little snug especially for people with more meat on their arms.7. The material is soft and comfortable. I didn’t find it itchy. However, the downside is it sheds/transfers on to clothing like crazy, so you might want to avoid wearing a black cotton shirt if you plan to take the sweater off.8. It’s appropriate for Fall, Winter, and Spring weather. You’ll obviously need to wear a long-sleeve shirt or wear the sweater under a coat in colder months since air does come through the design easily.9. The grey is lovely-- neither too light or dark.I purchased this and another PB sweater-- they are overpriced for the quality.
