## Description

One 16-ounce jar of Creamy Peanut Butter

Review: Above average mass produced peanut butter at a reasonable price - I didn't do a side by side taste test, but based upon my recollection this seems to be at least as good as Skippy (yeah, I know - low bar), and in the ballpark of better brands. This is mass produced, smooth peanut butter, so you should know what you're getting. It's smooth (no stirring needed) and it has some of sugar added. You should compare it with similar products. Don't complain because you're getting a different experience from the gritty, oily goop your local Whole Foods is offering; that's not what you're signing up for here. This is macro-brew peanut butter for the masses. The price seems to be very competitive, so it seems like a good value for what it is. UPDATE: After a year of supply chain issues, I finally got a chance to do a side by side taste test with this peanut butter vs. Jif. Jif seems to be widely regarded as the best mass-produced peanut butter, so this seemed like a worthwhile comparison. My taste test involved both eating straight peanut butter with a spoon (Don’t judge!), and on Carr’s table water crackers. Of course, I tasted with a fine Cabernet Sauvignon. Straight from the spoon, the Jif had a very smooth texture, while the Happy Belly was notably gritty and pasty in comparison. On a cracker this difference was imperceptible. Both had a strong and enjoyable peanut taste. Jif had a roasted peanut aftertaste that gave it a superior flavor profile, but this difference stands out primarily in side-by-side comparisons. You likely wouldn’t miss it otherwise. Bottom line: For the price, it’s hard to beat this peanut butter. You can serve it at wine tastings with Cabernet Sauvignon. You can spread it on toast. You can use it as ballast for your trans-oceanic sail. You can hurl it from parapets at invading armies. You can use jars of it as chips in your weekend poker games. You can feed it to your dog. You can feed it to your family. You can juggle jars of it in your side show performance for the circus. You can use it as a replacement for the softball at your firm’s weekend softball game (warning: you might be covered with peanut butter). You can use it for skeet shooting practice. You can use it for caulking in your bathroom or submarine. You can use it as a substitute for C4 on you next secret mission (caveat: may not actually explode). You could use it to stock your bunker. You can use it to deliver a child (caveat: this involves leaving the peanut butter in your glove box and calling a doctor). You can launch it into space (rocket not included).
Review: Simple ingredients and tastes great. - Good price and good peanut butter!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can't believe that it has hydrogenated oil ???**
A: I can't believe it either.... never mind that 4000 people have reviewed it with mostly HIGH recommendations for a peanut butter with Hydrogenated oil!! The fact that Canada and Britain don't even allow these ingredients in their food products should be a red flag that maybe we should avoid products with them....
The mentality is that it tastes good so that's enough.....people need to read labels and be more discerning shoppers. Why does Amazon need to source better ingredients and products to put their name on if most people who buy it don't care and will buy it anyway....SMH......

**Q: There is no expiration date?**
A: The expiration date is stamped on the top of the lid on my jar.

**Q: How do I cancel some monthly deliveries**
A: Go under your account then to your subscribe and from there you can cancel

**Q: is it true that all homogenous peanut butters retain their homogeneity by including hydrogenated oils? thank you.**
A: From simply googling "hydrogenated oils vs partially hydrogenated oils":

"The difference between partially hydrogenated and fully hydrogenated fats is that the partial hydrogenation creates trans-fats, while fully hydrogenated, the oil returns to a “zero trans-fat” level. Fully hydrogenated fats are sometimes listed as “interesterified oils” on ingredient labels."

Hope this has been helpful. 🖖💜

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple ingredients and tastes great.

Good price and good peanut butter!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A creamy peanut butter with a unique texture
*by A***Y on December 12, 2025*

This peanut butter definitely tastes different from other brands, which I think is a good thing. I think it has much more texture, with almost a grittiness to the texture. I personally find this enjoyable in creamy peanut butter since it keeps it interesting, but people who want their peanut butter to be perfectly smooth might take issue with it. The ingredients are decent and nothing spectacular; it does contain added sugar and oil. This makes it so it is ready to eat without stirring, which is convenient for anyone who doesn't enjoy stirring peanut butter. I like all peanut butter and I think each brings something different to the table, so I think it's worth trying for a good price.
