Who says you have to sacrifice security for speed. I got this safe to keep my kids and wife (only because she hasn't yet been instructed to safely handle and operate a pistol) from accessing my pistol. With the wrist band FOB, I can go from sleeping to armed in 5 seconds. I always wear the wristband so there is no risk of an unauthorized person accessing my weapon. I like the charging port in the back for my wireless charging base.
