After several unsuccessful attempts to fix the problem (using Versys forum advice, etc.), I decided to try this set of mirrors. They are absolutely excellent. Solid build quality with a sturdy/thick stem. The were dummy-proof to install. Once in place, they don't budge at any speed, and the image is clear, rock solid, and free of any vibration blurriness. I highly recommend ditching the OEM Versys junk and going with these mirrors. My only regret was that I spent so much time working to correct the stock mirrors. Commuting and touring in mind. Easy to install and they hold their position, which is what you would expect. The mirror build quality is very good without feeling overbuilt. They're actually lighter than I was expecting them to be and they have a nice aerodynamic shape. As a bicyclist that's a very good thing!! The style is excellent.I ride a fair amount of unpaved hilly roads, which means high speed descents, gravel, and not always avoiding potholes. That said I've never had any issues with the mirrors being jolted out of position. Again, that's what you want out of a solid performing mirror. When I switch my hand position to my bar end grips I run the risk of bumping them, but that's the only time they get knocked out of position. Perhaps they could be a little tighter in that regard, but it's not really a big issue at all.These mirrors provide a convex reflection, which allows you to see more of what's going on behind you. I like that, but it would be nice if the manufacturer offered true reflection mirrors in the same design as an option. The EMGO universal rectangular mirror by comparison isn't aerodynamic, doesn't have a convex mirror, and weighs much more. It would still make an acceptable bicycle mirror, but as an owner of both mirrors I would choose the Neverlandback Stealth mirror again if I had to pick between the two.For the same amount of money you could buy bicycle specific mirrors which aren't even half as nice. Most bicycle mirrors have issues with vibration, holding their position, offering too small of a viewing surface, or being inconveniently located. The bicycle vs motorcycle mirror market is quite a stark contrast of cost to benefit, so I would recommend any of you reading this to consider these mirrors for your bicycle and getting rid of the flimsy stuff! Weight weenies might scoff, but then again you probably have more mileage with a low profile drop-bar bar end mirror, assuming you can see past your body with that, assuming you can even justify safety features in your quest for speed and weight reduction.I mount these mirrors with a forward leaning angle, to the inside of my shifters on my flat bars as near as I can comfortably get. In my situation I'm usually checking out traffic between my arm and my torso but I can also see around my body with minimal effort and it works very well. The ends of the mirrors line up almost perfectly with my bar end grips, floating just above them. The mirrors rotate a full 360 degrees on their pivot, which allows inverted or unorthodox mounting solutions.Consider applying some electrical tape to your handlebars for your mounting bracket.
