So, I got this Litter Genie litterbox instead, not only because the size was bigger, but I figured I could at least try dumping the litter into the sifting litterbox and then sifting it, to see how that worked. The stainless steel base gives it a sturdier, cleaner feel than the usual plastic-only pans, and litter doesn’t stick to it the way it tends to in regular boxes. That makes cleaning far easier, I usually just dump, rinse with hot water and mild soap, and it looks new again. Unlike plastic, it doesn't hold onto the pee smell once washed. The size works well for multi-cat use. Either of my cats fits comfortably inside, thanks to the taller sides that keep the litter in instead of scattering it all over the floor. The shape is a little unusual at first glance, but it’s actually very practical. It fits into tight spaces, and if you place it against a wall, the flexible design adjusts to the space while still giving the cats room to move. I've seen complaints about durability, but I've seen no issues myself so far. Overall, it’s quite a pricey option, but the design, cleanliness, and durability make it worth it for me.
