Does everything I need and easy to use. *by T***D on June 24, 2016* I bought this being a little skeptical due to its low price. No reason to be skeptical. I've used high-end test equipment for over 30 years and when I needed a function generator for home projects this unit has amazed me and I am very pleasantly surprised. It performs as advertised and is extremely simple to use right out of the box. I have used this unit standalone only so far and have not used it as a USB host or device yet so I can't comment on that. But I'd highly recommend this function generator for home and business use. Anyone wants this thing they can have it for the cost of shipping from Tucson AZ USA. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Initially: Nice Instrument at a Reasonable Price, But LATER... Stopped Working, NO SERVICE *by P***R on November 29, 2015* Nice instrument at a reasonable price... relatively easy to learn and use. While relatively intuitive, I think the user interface is a bit "clunkier" than it should be. For example, it always powers-up in its own default settings and not in the settings last used with the instrument. But, for the price, very good.REVISED: August 2017I bought this instrument on June 3, 2015 and used it daily for a project. Then I didn't use it again for almost a year. When I went back to use it in August 2017, and powered it up... it hung on the startup screen. A quick search of the Internet indicates that this is a "known problem" -- I've emailed Siglent for service, but have received no reply. None. The instrument is still supposed to be under warranty.
