Review: BlueCatELE fuses work great! - I have one of those Panasonic Inverter microwaves, and yes, it constantly blows the fuse. I finally asked ChatGPT, why is my microwave fuse constantly blowing, and it responded that this was normal for the Inverter type microwaves, with the high current. ChatGPT stated that the normal (non-inverter type) microwaves have a large transformer, and they rarely blow the fuse. So now I am stuck, constantly replacing the fuse for my inverter type microwave. According to ChatGPT, a normal microwave cooks at 50% power by alternating the cooking cycle at 100% one cycle, and 0% the next cycle, thus achieving the 50% power. An inverter microwave just cooks at 50% power, there is none of the alternating of cooking cycles. So that is great for more even cooking, when you are not cooking at 100% power. But here is the thing, I typically use the microwave at 100% power, so this inverter feature means nothing to me, based on how I use the microwave. Had I known about inverter microwaves, and their propensity to blow fuses, I would not have bought an inverter microwave. Anyways, this is the hand I have been dealt, so I just have to deal with it. I previously just went to Home Depot, and bought the Cooper Bussmann microwave fuses, 2-pack for about $6.50. So I changed gears, and instead bought these BlueCatELE fuses, 5-pack for under $5. Finally installed one of these BlueCatELE fuses, and it works great. No issues. So if you are wondering about these fuses for your microwave, I give it a thumbs up!
Review: Great! - I'm really impressed with this item! From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell it was well-made and designed with the user in mind. Setup was straightforward and quick, which is always a huge plus. In terms of performance, it has consistently exceeded my expectations. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it reliably and efficiently. I've been using it regularly for a while now, and it still feels as good as new. What I particularly appreciate is its ease of use. The features are intuitive, and I didn't need to consult a manual to figure things out. It truly makes my life easier. Overall, this has been an excellent purchase, and I genuinely feel it offers great value for the price. If you're looking for a dependable and high-quality item that delivers on its promises, you won't be disappointed with this one.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this fuse fix my microwave if it has no power?**
A: Yes! If your microwave is completely dead, a blown fuse is the most common culprit. Our 20A 250V microwave ceramic fuse lets you restore power in minutes, helping you avoid expensive technician fees or the cost of a brand-new appliance.

**Q: How do I know I am installing the correct amperage?**
A: We’ve eliminated the guessing game. Each BlueCatELE fuse features crisp, permanent laser etching on the metal end caps. The "20A 250V" markings are easy to read, ensuring you install the right part and maintain the electrical safety of your kitchen.

**Q: Why should I choose ceramic fuses over glass ones?**
A: Ceramic is the standard for microwaves. These 20 amp microwave ceramic fuses offer superior heat resistance and burst-proof protection compared to glass. The slow-blow design is engineered to handle the high-heat cycles of modern appliances.

**Q: Will these fuses fit my specific microwave brand?**
A: These are standard 6x30mm fuses, precision-engineered for a universal fit. They are compatible with major brands including GE, Whirlpool, Samsung, and LG. The exact dimensions ensure a snug, snap-in fit for a secure and stable electrical connection.

**Q: What should I do if the new fuse blows right after installation?**
A: Fuses blow to protect your microwave from larger electrical faults. If it blows immediately, we recommend checking your door switches or capacitor. Our convenient 5-pack ensures you have extra spares on hand while you identify the root cause.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gets the job done, but the fuse may be just part of the problem.
*by W***K on February 27, 2024*

My son was ready to get a new microwave, but with these fuses and a little time it saved him a bunch of money. If you are a handyman, you can find videos online of how to access the fuse in your particular make and model of microwave. If a fuse blows, there is usually a problem. Frequently it is a failed micro switch in the door assembly because users yank the door open with the microwave still running. Always Pause or Stop the microwave before opening the door. His microwave has 3 switches and one was defective. There are videos on line about testing and replacing the switches, but I wouldn't try it unless you have basic electrical skills and a meter. The switches are cheap on line, but will probably cost an arm and a leg at a parts store.
