You want to be sure to cut the plastic thread attatching it so you do not rip the beck seam. I saw some posts where people may have damaged the neck by just trying to pull the bag off.This robe is twice as expensive as their polyester satin version but a great value and real silk is worth every penny.It says it is hand washable and to flat dry or to dry clean.
