The mic is straight and doesn't bend so it tends to pick up background noises and people. I was told they sounded fine but not that great if others are in the room with you. The sound quality was good and a good fit so I didn't pick up the noise around me. I mean, are you really expecting a great sounding mic with a $20 headset.These things went far beyond my original expectations.I wouldn't recommend these to anyone trying to get headphones for something portable, like a laptop or phone. The cables can get a bit unwieldy if you're trying to mess around with them. The color is also incorrect, the picture is clearly White and pink while the headset I received is an ugly grey, white and dark red. The microphone is ridiculously stiff and, once again, I feels like I could break it with little to no effort. The wires are made of this awful material which crimps for absolutely no discernible reason.The panel with which you control the volume and microphone is, again, very cheaply made. It feels like something out of the late 80s and the volume control slider is of especially poor quality.The audio quality is actually decent, but as far as I can tell, the microphone doesn't work entirely.
