Review: An amazing tent with great reviews - I spent ages looking for the right bike packing tent. After seeing many positive reviews on YouTube I decided on the Cloud Up 2. Unfortunately, the prices has been unwavering for a year, but it dropped on desertcart Prime Day so I had to buy it. It's only had one outing in the garden, but it's impressive for what people call a budget tent. I got the Forest Green in 20D Nylon. It super lightweight and the poles and pegs are good quality geared towards keeping your pack lightweight. I was surprised at how thin the material is. It's strong, but the groundsheet feels vulnerable. Naturehike includes a footprint as standard, which makes a lot of sense. The pegs are well made, but the number of them assumes you double up guy ropes on the sides and the back. Three additional pegs would have been ideal for more security. It's easy to set up and take down. I set it up in 15mins first time without following any instructions and I'm sure I could do it quicker. I took it down in 5mins, which was even more impressive. It's billed as 2-man, but not two at my size. It's comfortable for one plus equipment. The only issue I have is the small door, but then I bought it knowing that would be a limitation. I have a folding Brompton bike that goes in the tent with me. Getting it in isn't graceful, but there's plenty of space inside for us both. Overall, I can see why it gets such positive reviews and I'm looking forward to getting out there.
Review: Fantastic tent for the price. - Can't rate this tent enough. If you are on a budget like myself I think this tent is as good as you are going to get for the price. Relatively light so great for backpacking. Good quality build. Has proven to be great in wet windy weather. Very easy to erect and with only a little faff it can be put up outer first. No condensation problems. I would say it would be ok in winter as long as it's not heavy snow. Happy camping.

**Q: Other than the colour, what's the difference between the 210T and 20D version?**
A: The waterproof performance of 20D (PU 4000+) is better and the weight is lighter.
The waterproof performance of 210T is PU3000+.

**Q: Which has more floorspace, this or the Taga 2? It looks like they have the same internal space but this has a porch?**
A: As to these 2 Naturehike tent, Cloud Up 2 has more space than Taga 2, dear, also performance of Cloud Up 2 is better. 
Structure of these 2 camping tent are different, Taga 2 is lighter, but Cloud Up 2 suit for more places.

**Q: im 1.88 and want to travel with my girlfriend. we don't care too much about space but will we fit? she is about 1.7 and rather thin**
A: Yes II think you will fit.
Me and my girlfriend went away on  a cloud up 2 upgrade with no problem.
We are 178 and 173. 

We had enough space.

**Q: Is this waterproof**
A: I can fuly confirm that this is waterproof. I've spent countless nights wildcamping in my Cloud-Up 2 in bad wet weather and the tent had remained waterproof and stable despite the wind.

Unfortunately, the prices has been unwavering for a year, but it dropped on Amazon Prime Day so I had to buy it. Can't rate this tent enough. If you are on a budget like myself I think this tent is as good as you are going to get for the price. Relatively light so great for backpacking. Good quality build. Has proven to be great in wet windy weather. Very easy to erect and with only a little faff it can be put up outer first. No condensation problems. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I great tent for the price point, with a few things that let it down.

I've now taken this tent out on a test run and i'm really impressed. It held up well to rain and heavy winds (with some extra pegging out of the fly). It's a great quality tent for the price point. Note of course that you need to angle the tent so that the back is facing to the strongest wind. Side on and the tent will buffett a lot more, straining the poles. Great things: * the peg/line points - there are lots, you have a choice depending on your wind situation * lightweight - packs super well, * easy to set up and tear down .. can set the fly up first if need be * stand alone if there's no wind issues * has enough head room to sit up ... I was able to read my book in my camp chair during the winds * the pegs! they're great - best pegs ever.. three sided design, with a 'catch' on each side and a pull string to get them out. very strong - didn't bend one! love them. * the poles - all one piece. * great zips -seemed like they'll last A few things that let this tent down: =============================== ** in the wind, the tent inner is mostly mesh - this is great in the heat, but not in the cold with wind. I was camping in August along Hadrian's Wall, it got down to 11C at night with a strong wind. - While you can peg the fly edges down to the ground on the sides and back, the front vestibule does not peg flush with the ground - there will be a 10+cm gap, and the front inner/door is, insanely, entirely, mesh. - This means the wind blows directly onto your head. Because the door is 100% mesh, with any wind, your tent WILL NOT RETAIN HEAT - and you will be cold. I was able to mitigate this by using my bike panniers to block the windiest side, and assorted other bits of kit to try and block the other. Finally I opened my folding camping chair, and propped it up across the bottom of the door to keep the wind out, and I was able to sleep comfortably . - This could be fixed in 2 ways by the company - #1 - make it so there's no 10+cm gap between the bottom of the front vestibule and the ground - just add some extra fabric or something so you can peg it flush. or - #2 - put an inner nylon door inside or outside the mesh one that you can close to retain heat/stop wind. Arguably, the number one point of a tent, is to keep the elements out, and this door arrangement does not do that. ** there is a single pocket to store essentials - it's small - it's above your head. One or two more on the sides would be a huge benefit for those little things you want to keep track of. ** The single hook in the centre is useful - but one or two more in the corners would be amazing - particularly for hanging things up to dry at night ( you could run a line). ** the poles: all one piece - this is great and convenient.. but I worried, as the winds were buffetting my tent, that if a single part of the pole was compromised, I'd lose them all in one go ? ** the back vent - I like the design, but you can't really open it or close it from the inside. you need to take the stiff little pole thingie off the velcro or stick it on.. which I couldn't manage through a taught-pulled inner.
