This was a smidge confusing to install (didn't come with instructions) but a minute or two of fidgeting with it I figured it out.To saved others the trouble of figuring it out on their own, start by setting the adapter inside your ring, and tighten the ring down around the adapter almost completely. Leave it just a bit loose, and insert the set screw/tighten it down against the bottom of the ring. This will force the adapter down against the claws on the picatinny/weaver ring. The adapter is spring loaded (points to the designer, this is brilliant!), and opens up when the ring is opened and closed. Just be sure not to open the ring too far or it will fall out. If you have bolt on and forget it rings, just line up the rail and tighten it down, easy peasey. If you have rings that can be removed quickly like mine, you still don't have to worry about it falling out as long as you're aware the adapter can drop out if you open the rings fully.Thrilled they work as well as they do, wish they had come with a little instruction card. These saved me from getting a special extra set of rings for my .22, which probably would have run 40-60$, so at 8$ each, not complaining too much. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid dovetail adaptors that do the job. *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2017* Solid dovetail adaptors. Just click into place and all good to go. No worries about slipping around in the rail. I have bought over a dozen to adapt my picatinny rings to dovetail and gave no complaints, period. ### ⭐ Read the description very closely *by L***H on Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2019* in one place it says one item per package, but in the description just under the price it says two in package. Why would they only want to include one adapter when mounting a scope, two rings are required.
