Review: Amazing Fightpad, Best I Have Used In Years - Very comfortable to hold and responsive inputs, never find myself struggling to pull off a Shoryuken like do with poor D-Pads. I have always preferred to use Saturn Pads in fighting games but this is even better in my opinion. It is more comfortable, the smaller buttons are easier to press and not so rounded on top and the bumper buttons feel great. Then the bonus of it connecting as a proper xbox controller via bluetooth so works with all my MUGEN games and Launchbox build without having to reconfigure anything. Has an easy to use turbo button assigner great for old shooters etc. One downfall i experienced however was using this controller with 8BitDo's wireless brick dongle v2 the black one. I had nothing but disconnects, left and right triggers assigning themselves to Right Bumper and Right Trigger, but the main problem is the d-pad, left stick and right stick switch. On this controller you hold the select button up down left or right to assign the dpad as left stick / right stick etc. When this is done whilst connected to the V2 dongle it assigns every button wrong and acts very strange. Now i think this issues will be patched later as the firmware for the v2 dongle is still only on 1.0 so in the meantime i recommend connecting these via bluetooth as everything works as it should that way. I will always buy my controllers form 8BitDo in the future.
Review: Good gamepad for retro games! - This pad is a nearly perfect SEGA pad. Awesome d-pad, great buttons. Good connectivity. Be aware that it won't work for all "retro"-style games however - most developers expect 2 thumbsticks now and their games are designed for Xbox pads instead.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good gamepad for retro games!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A really great modern Mega Drive-style controller.
*by 8***H on 9 November 2020*

I've been using this for my Mega Drive and Switch so far, and I really like it. The shape, feel and spacing of the buttons are a very close match for a Mega Drive 6-button controller, and not much smaller than a Japanese Saturn controller. I find the contours much more comfortable, and the SNES-style shoulder buttons are far better than the clicky ones on Saturn controllers. Those who are used to the Mega Drive 3-button controller or the more angular western Saturn controllers may find this too small for them, but that hasn't been an issue for me. Syncing with different devices can be finicky, but once they're paired, it works really well. If you're buying this for a Switch, you might find the buttons don't map very well for certain games, but since the Switch added the ability to create and save custom button mappings from the Settings menu, this shouldn't be a dealbreaker. Playing Flashback with the original button layout felt like a massive improvement. I'm already thinking about getting a Retro-Bit receiver so I can use this as my main Saturn controller.
