Needless to say, I had to remove remnants of the the carpet and glue, before painting. This tool worked remarkably well. Of course I had to change the sanding pads frequently, but it was extremely easy to remove and replace them and it came with plenty. The pads were very stable while sanding. It was a great value and I will be ordering again for my next project. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One time sandman. *by S***A on August 28, 2020* I've only used it for one project so far so I can't speak to durability but it worked great for what I needed it for. Appears to be a good value. I thought the pricing seemed very fair. Even if I never used it again it was inexpensive enough to get just for this project. Having never used one like this I was concerned I'd end up with circles in the wood. My concern was unfounded.
