The first time I squeezed it out of the tube I was a bit shocked that it looked like vaseline. What you do is emulsify it on your fingertips with a tiny bit of water and then massage it into your skin. Let it sit for a few seconds while you wet a washcloth with warm water and then wipe it off. My face feels so clean and not tight at all. It even gets of my majorly waterproof mascara without having to use makeup remover. I like that! The less pulling at my eye area the better. I have very sensitive skin and eyes and have to be very careful with what I use or I will get a very itchy rash or my eyes will burn and swell. None of that happens with the Karin Herzog line. My acne spots are still there and I use the professional cleansing cream with the Oxygen face and the cream just makes my face feel greasier.
