I previously used a cheaper vinyl alternating mattress pad with the weirdly shaped bubbles, but I found it uncomfortable to lay on and the air delivery system caused problems with leaks and inconsistent pressure throughout the length of the bed. This system, however, doesn't have any of those problems. It's the perfect length for my bed, alternates pressure up and down much deeper than my old system, and it appears to be a much more solid construction with the tubes and the air delivery connections between the tubes. I don't expect to have any air leaks in this for quite some time.The only questionable part of this system is the air pump itself. It is overall much louder than my old system and seems to have a vibration which is impossible to deaden no matter how I try to mount it. On top of that, the air pump itself stopped alternating pressure within 25 days of me using it. Thankfully, the seller is very responsive and immediately sent me out 2 brand-new pumps, and so far the one I'm using now has been working flawlessly since it arrived. It's still as loud as the first pump, but as long as it works I have learned to sleep through it with really no issues. This seller is definitely true to his word and stands by this product, so that is comforting (especially given the cost). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Alleviates some pain and would order again. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2019* Nice mattress...Ordered two and received two on timely basis. It covered half of a kingsize bed...ours is a California King and it fits perfectly in width...is about a foot short in length. Really needed longer width, but my tall husband has settled with this one. Does help with comfort, but because I have so many medical problems (Lupus SLE which effects 98% of body) nothing alleviates all of my pain. This alternates air throughout. Settings on Pump is a little loud, but hardly noticeable when you get used to it. Pump can be adjusted to degree of softness of mattress. We found it necessary to place the mattress under our gel-foam mattress that is fairly thin. We could not have used this product without it. Those with Lupus...particularly "SLE", the elderly, physically handicapped or anyone who is bedridden for any reason will find this helps.
