Weapon specific comments to follow:The FNX .45 Tactical is so large that items in the front magazine pouch (such as the 15 round mags it ships with) impede the functionality of the design. To describe this in further detail, the mag in the pouch pushes into the holster, toward the center of the weapon, and causes the leading edge of the holster to flex back toward the top of the slide. Because of the raised sights, this creates an issue on both the holstering and on the draw, as the front slide gets hung up toward the center of the bow effect. I keep a laser/tac light on the weapon at all times. No issue with fit or function.An attached RMR will cause the weapon to ride so high in the holster that the trigger will be exposed. This configuration is more dangerous than practical. Look for a company that makes Kydex holsters instead. They are semi-rigid polymer and can be cut to allow an RMR while still keeping the trigger under guard. Most Kydex holsters, however, lack the same level of retention that this Blackhawk rig provides. There are solutions to mounting Kydex holsters to Molle webbing, but you then have to get creative with your setup. Very creative.Depending on the model of suppressor, this holster can be adjusted to accommodate. There is a wide hook and loop strap inside which is used to set the weapon ride height. Again, you want to protect the weapon as much as possible while still maintaining proper access to the grip. Moving the ride height adjuster out of the way for a suppressor will cause the weapon to rest on your taclight, and with a supressor riding all the way through the holster, you risk catching the suppressor on that strap or on the holster body itself. This configuration is, again, dangerous and not recommended. **Q: It says it's a universal holster and that you can utilize left or right handed configuration but how can it be used left handed? Doesn't look possible** A: It may seem that way from the photos, but the entire holster is configured with hook & loop (velcro) straps/positioners that are able to be re-configured exactly the same on either side of the holster for left or right handed set up. **Q: Will this fit a taurus spectrum .380 acp?** A: I'm not sure. But. I have used mine with Glock 16, Kimber R7 Mako, Kimber EVO and FN 509 C **Q: Is this holster multi cam or coyote tan? I took a chance and ordered it and it arrived fast. Out of the box, I was ready to send it back just on appearance. It looks like it was produced under a grant from the National Velcro Foundation. Hook and loop tape everywhere. I thought it'd never form-fit correctly or be sturdy, but I chanced it, and started fiddling with all the Velcro straps after reading the surprisingly useful booklet (it also comes with a flexible plastic piece to assist with feeding Velcro through seams--very clever). When I'm wrong, I admit it. I was way wrong. About thirty minutes of velcroing and unvelcroing later I had the coolest looking, form-fitting, sturdy holster. Draw is crisp and smooth. Pistol locks in tight and stays in place. Great holster. Greater value.
