I was unable to lock my hurricane proof door from the inside because I can’t screw anything in it, this was such a simple and great fix and won’t destroy my door. Super worth it! The picture is dark. Review: Effortless Safety - These Childproof Door Lever Locks have been a game changer and standout addition to our home safety measures. Successfully keeping my curious son from opening doors, these locks have proven both effective and versatile. I cleverly installed them upside down, taking advantage of his current inability to push up, which allows for temporary easy access for adults without having to close the clasp. The installation process was remarkably straightforward—no tools were needed, just the strong 3M adhesive backing that came with the locks. The adhesive itself has been rock-solid; there have been no signs of peeling or weakening, which reassures me that the locks will remain securely in place until we decide to remove them. While I am slightly concerned about the potential for paint damage upon removal, the current effectiveness and ease of use overshadow this minor worry.
