The brand of premium cedar shoe tree that I’d normally buy online was out-of-stock in my size and has been for months. So I looked at the other brands available on Amazon and came across this one - supplied by one of their Marketplace sellers.The thing that initially caught my eye was the unfussy design: I particularly like the fingergrip design at the heel. In my experience it’s more robust than having brass/chrome rings or knobs to hold when man-handling the trees into the shoes. The second thing I noticed was the brand name: Selvyt. This company’s cleaning/polishing cloths have attained legendary status in the armed forces - brilliant for giving that parade gloss shine. So I reckoned that their quality control should be good and I bought a pair. They also had the benefit of free delivery from the supplier (Riftshoes).I didn’t have to wait long before they were delivered and I eagerly opened the parcel. The packaging was plain and simple: a cardboard box with the size clearly marked. Once out of the box, the superb build quality was apparent. No rough edges nor any great chunks or faults filled with paste and painted over, as sometimes happens. Beautifully crafted in aromatic cedar. I tucked them into the shoes I bought them for and they fit perfectly. If you’re a half size like me, go down a size. The double barrel springs have enough tension to expand. They seem designed to suit an F(medium) shoe. But it looks as if there’s scope to adjust the girth by means of a screw - though I haven’t tried.For me, they do the job. Compared with others, they are premium quality at a fairly inexpensive price. If I need more shoe trees, these are the ones I’d go for. This is a good thing, as you can sand it down if it is too big for your shoes. (If it weren't big enough, you wouldn't be able to fix that!) Seemse well constructed. Docked one star because the cedar is not very aromatic, even with the light sanding that is normal for maintaining cedar shoe trees. To remedy this, I added some cedar oil to the inside surfaces where it would be wicked into the pores of the wood, and would not stain the inside of the shoes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shoe tree *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2016* I love the smell of these. I've bought 2 sets of them now after finding the first set to work very well for my shoes. One odd thing I found was that both units I bought were identical apart from the brass logo was missing from one pair.
