Assuming you are thoughtful and methodical when putting it on, which you should be, it is super easy to apply it to the screen. Although they contain a little attitude and cheek in tone (normally a fun touch, but these are just a wee bit snarky), the instructions on the package are crystal clear.I gave it 5 stars for fit, appearance, packaging and ease of application. Time will tell how well it actually protects the screen. It should work great to protect against scratches and scuffs, but I've previously broken two Giottos Schott glass screen protectors from point pressure, which I presume saved the screen's glass from breaking. I'm guessing this won't work as well against that one thing, purely as a function of the material properties, but suspect it will do well in every other regard.Very happy so far! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ not quite very good at 4 *by B***A on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2014* I would give the screen protector a 3.5 if I could. It's not quite an average 3.0 and not quite very good at 4.0. I've been through a fair share of different kind of screen protectors. This would rate slightly above average. Optically, it's very clear. Installation wasn't quite as smooth as I expected:On the realm of screen protectors, there are wet application (the original invisible shield) and dry application (similar to this product). The wet applications are typically easier because little pieces of dust can disappear after the soapy solution dries. Dry applications are typically much better optically, but very susceptible to dust. I was curious about the "silicone" layer advertised here. Would pieces of dust disappear?I don't think the silicone layer makes any difference. With small pieces of dust, you can usually save the screen from bubbles by peeling back with some Scotch tape, then using a new piece of tape to remove dust underneath the screen protector. In fact, this is exactly what is listed in the instructions. However, I found that the Expert Shield's "silicone", or adhesive, was too strong to be pulled back by Scotch tape. I was forced to use a finger nail, which bent the plastic slightly. I have a dust free installation now, but one corner won't sit flat. I'd rather a screen protector with slightly less strong "silicone" or with slightly less hard plastic.Overall, I like that it's optically clear. I'm not happy with my installation. Since I cannot give 1/2 stars, I will give 4 stars because this could be mostly my error, even though I've gotten pretty good at installing screen protectors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still Perfect! *by S***Z on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2015* This is my second experience with an Expert Shield screen protector.
