My usual size is a woman small-medium. I ordered a medium based on the reviews and unfortunately these gloves are too small. I am keeping them because I don't want the hassle of returning them and I need to use them right away. I should have ordered a size large because the thumbs are too tight and my fingers reach the end. When buying these gloves consider ordering at least one to two sizes above your regular size. I wish I would have done that. They are not the warmest gloves, but they work well keeping hands warm enough above say about 20 degrees or so.edit: I changed my review from three stars to four because after a month of use the thumb holes loosened up and they are not so uncomfortable. I do recommend these gloves and like them very much, but be aware they are not the best gloves for extreme cold. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ size comment *by S***N on January 9, 2011* I have very small hands - in fact, I usually buy children's sized gloves, so I was concerned when I saw that the smallest these gloves come is medium. I decided to purchase them because of the excellent price, and figured I could wear a pair of cloth gloves inside if they were too large. They were perfect for me, and I can see how they would also fit larger hands with ease. They do not feel 'floppy' or extra long as most gloves might if they were too large because of the wooly lining. They are warm and comfortable, do not slip on the steering wheel when I drive, and in the typical cold of Wyoming, keep my hands warm! These are exactly what I was hoping for, were shipped quickly, and were received just prior to some seriously cold weather.One year later -- I still love these gloves! In fact, I'm purchasing another pair in tan "just because".
