I had read reviews on the other versions, and was nervous to try the fifth edition because of some of the things I had read, however this 2-pack was the cheapest I could find by far versus even the second edition alone. I received my items quickly and in great condition. Both games work great and I've had no trouble at all with the fifth edition game. I have windows XP on a dell computer, and when I started up the fifth edition game it did change my settings temporarily, but only as the game was running; as soon as I exited the game my settings returned to normal. I also had no trouble with any of the game features, such as fishing (though I found no directions so I simply had to figure it out-you must click on the end of your fishing pole where it looks as though a hook it hanging off while the fish stops to eat your bait) or the gathering option which is a change from the second version that I had been familiar with. I actually like the fifth edition better than the second! I am very happy with this product and also with the company I purchased it from that gave me such a good deal!
