Surface Shields 12 inch X 200 feet Carpet Shield is a durable carpet protection film for the manufactured home and RV industry which prevents damage to carpets during high traffic display periods and during inclement weather, or while repairs are in progress. Uniquely formulated adhesive system adheres to all carpet substrates. Special blend of polyethylene is highly resistant to tears and punctures. Great protection during remodeling, painting, moving, model home tours and parties. Carpet Shield is a clear 3 mil, non-skid polyethylene film with a clear, water soluble pressure sensitive adhesive applied to one side. It is reverse-rolled for easy application. It can be applied by simply rolling across the carpet.

    Great on carpet

Great on carpet.  Whatever you do DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS ON HARDWOOD FLOORS OR TILE.  It is an absolute bare to get off AND it ruined my hardwood floors taking the finish off.  It was a very costly mistake as I had to get my entire hardwood floor (not just the area that ripped off the finish) completed sanded and refinished.  It says CARPET SHIELD for a reason...don't attempt on ANY other type(s) of flooring!
