Review: Best Office Heater - I work in an office that is always cold and have used several heaters over the years. I used to use a small heater that blew hot air. While warm, it was loud and I didn't like having the air blow at me. I switched to a parabolic electric heater (dish type) and that was nice only, it would make a buzzing noise when it heated. Also, if you had to reposition the heater while it was on, it would make a horrible noise. And, because I have the heater next to my chair, I was afraid of burning myself when I walked by it. None of these issues apply to this heater. It's completely silent, keeps me warm enough without being too hot in my office, and because of the slim profile, I can walk by without worrying that I'll burn myself. I can also lift it by the handle and move it while it's still on and it doesn't make any noise. Only 2 settings (low and high) but I find that these two are enough for what I need. Loved this heater so much that in the winter I take it home with me to use in my home office when working from home.
