A: Yes it fits the 4x4 vxl the model will get more noisy due to metal on metal contact but definitely a fair trade to stop stripping spur gears

**Q: Will this fit Slash 2wd?  The slash is stock except for upgraded Traxxas motor (which promptly shredded the gear).**
A: Yes it will but its will be a lot loder then be for one the go.

A: Bigger pinion the faster thr smaller the pinion the slower but more torque  be qware going faster means more heat
